Jacob Demree
Jacob Demree represents clients across the firm’s practice areas.
Jacob joined the firm as an associate in 2022. He advises the firm’s clients on a range of labor and employment issues, as well as compliance with federal and state campaign finance laws. Jacob is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland bars, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third and Fifth Circuits and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He has represented clients in trial and appellate litigation, in addition to proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
Jacob graduated cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was Senior Submissions Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. While in law school, Jacob worked at the National Labor Relations Board’s Contempt, Compliance, and Special Litigation Branch. Jacob also represented employees in forced labor, wage theft, and discrimination cases with Georgetown’s Appellate Courts Immersion Clinic. He graduated with high honors from Swarthmore College. Jacob is a chapter editor for the eleventh edition of How to Take a Case Before the NLRB.
