| Sherman Dunn, P.C. is a Washington, D.C. based law firm with a national labor and employment law practice focused on representing labor unions. Founded in 1947, we have over 75 years of experience representing labor organizations and their members across a wide spectrum of the economy, including the construction, utility, electrical manufacturing, telecommunications, broadcast, railroad, security, sports and shipbuilding industries.
We provide our clients with comprehensive legal services in a cost effective manner. We represent unions in complex civil litigation and in cases before administrative agencies. We help our clients negotiate, administer and enforce their collective bargaining agreements. In addition, we provide counsel on union governance and compliance issues, political and election law, legislative and regulatory issues, and health and safety matters. Our clients include large labor federations, international labor organizations, local unions, and an array of non-profit joint labor-management organizations. Our attorneys have developed expertise in areas of importance to our clients, and all of our attorneys are committed to our clients’ cause, and to that of the labor movement in general.
